Error: The Folder [a] is not writeable.WN Fashion Expo ‘04

A first time already I had spotted it, during one of my travel-shopping-sprees, as the landmark close to it (easily recognizable, as it is an island shaped as Yin-Yang symbol) caught my eyes. There wasn’t much installment done at that time yet, though, so I hadn’t really perused it further, thinking I’d come back later. Which is what I did, and again took a few pictures, after having admired for a long moment all the outfits showcased at the exposition.

Located in Zermatt, the snow sim sporting the very landmark I mentioned hereabove, the New World Notes Fashion Expo, which is a project that has been started about one week ago, aims at featuring the most favorite clothes designers in Second Life – both established and up-and-coming ones. Hamlet Linden himself has been gathering the nominations from players (I believe on the forums, and also in-world), and designers have the opportunity to send him screenshots of their creations to be displayed at the Expo. (I’d have done it with my Japanese clothes, I admit, but they want modern ones, so I’m kinda out of it, ain’t I chuckles)

There will be a showcase event next Tuesday, and likely more after this, along with the nominations being published in the New World Notes blog itself. Thus… more to come about this later on!
